Exchange Policy
EXCHANGE POLICY
Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique
Effective Date: May 21, 2025
This Exchange Policy ("Policy") sets forth the terms under which Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") accepts exchanges of products purchased through chiccurvyboutique.com or any affiliated platform. By placing an order with us, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. Direct Exchanges Not Offered
1.1 Due to the limited and fast-moving nature of our inventory, Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique does not offer direct one to one exchanges of products at this time.
1.2 Customers who wish to exchange a product for a different size, color, or style must follow the process set forth in Section 2 below.
2. Exchange Process
2.1 To exchange an item, the Customer must:
• Initiate a return through the Chic Return Department within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery, in accordance with our Return Policy.
• Ship the original item back to us, postmarked within the fourteen (14) day return window.
• Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will issue digital store credit to the Customer's email within three (3) business days.
• The Customer may then place a new order using the store credit to purchase the desired size, color, or alternate item.
2.2 The Customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any shipping fees associated with the new order.
2.3 Original shipping fees are non-refundable and will not be included in the store credit amount.
3. Inventory Availability
3.1 Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique does not reserve, hold, or guarantee the availability of any item pending the receipt of a returned product.
3.2 The Customer assumes the risk that the desired replacement size, color, or style may sell out before the return is processed and store credit is issued. We are not liable for, and no compensation will be provided for, items that become unavailable during the exchange process.
4. Condition Requirements
4.1 All items submitted for exchange must meet the same condition requirements as standard returns, set forth in Section 3 of our Return Policy. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original packaging with all tags attached.
4.2 Items that do not meet these conditions will be refused and returned to the sender at the Customer's expense. No store credit will be issued.
5. Final Sale and Non-Exchangeable Items
5.1 Final Sale items, as defined in Section 4 of our Return Policy, are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to:
• Personalized and custom-order items.
• Accessories (sunglasses, eyewear, belts, jewelry).
• Mystery bags and mystery boxes.
• Door-buster and discounted sale items.
• Intimates, shapewear, and lingerie.
• Tights and hosiery.
• Bridal gowns and formal gowns.
• Adult personal items.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
6.1 Customers who receive a damaged or defective item are eligible for a free replacement of the same item, subject to inventory availability, in accordance with Section 6 of our Return Policy.
6.2 Claims must be submitted within three (3) calendar days of delivery with supporting photographs.
7. Modifications to This Policy
Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique reserves the right to modify this Exchange Policy at any time without prior notice. The version of the Policy in effect at the time of your order will govern that transaction.
8. Governing Law and Venue
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
