PREORDER POLICY

How Preorders Work at Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique

This Preorder Policy ("Policy") governs the purchase of preorder items from Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") through chiccurvyboutique.com or any affiliated platform. By placing a preorder, you ("Customer" or "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy, in addition to our Shipping Policy, Return Policy, Exchange Policy, and Terms and Conditions, each of which is incorporated by reference.

1. What Is a Preorder

1.1  Due to high demand and limited availability, certain items may be made available for purchase prior to being in stock at our facility. A preorder allows you to reserve and secure an item before it is released for general sale.

1.2  By placing a preorder, you are entering into a binding agreement to purchase the item subject to the terms of this Policy.

2. Payment

2.1  Payment for all preorder items is charged in full at the time of checkout and not at the time the item ships.

2.2  By submitting a preorder, you authorize Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique to charge your selected payment method immediately upon order placement.

2.3  Preorder payments are non-refundable to the original payment method. In the event a refund is warranted under this Policy or applicable law, refunds will be issued as digital store credit in accordance with our Return Policy, except where a refund to the original payment method is required by law.

3. Estimated Ship Dates

3.1  Each preorder item is listed with an estimated ship date in the product description on the Site. The estimated ship date is an approximation only and is not a guarantee of delivery.

3.2  Preorder items may arrive before or after the posted estimated ship date due to manufacturing timelines, supplier delays, shipping carrier delays, customs processing, or other factors outside our control.

3.3  Although uncommon, the estimated ship date for a preorder may change after the order has been placed. In the event of a material change to the estimated ship date, you will be notified by email at the address on file, and the updated date will be posted in the product description on the Site. Continued retention of the preorder after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised ship date.

3.4  Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays in the estimated ship date, including but not limited to missed events, missed travel dates, or any other time-sensitive purpose.

4. Processing and Shipping

4.1  Preorder items are generally processed and shipped within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours after the item arrives at our facility on or near the estimated ship date.

4.2  Once the preorder item ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing tracking information.

4.3  All standard shipping terms set forth in our Shipping Policy apply to preorder shipments, including provisions regarding carrier liability, lost or stolen packages, and international duties and taxes.

5. Combined Orders Containing Preorder and In-Stock Items

5.1  If a single order contains both preorder items and in-stock items, the entire order will be held and shipped together on or after the estimated ship date of the preorder item.

5.2  We do not ship in-stock items separately from preorder items as a courtesy or by default.

5.3  If you wish to receive in-stock items prior to the preorder ship date, you must either: (a) place the in-stock items in a separate order; or (b) contact Customer Service to request separate shipment and agree in writing to pay an additional shipping fee. Separate shipment requests are accommodated at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.

6. Promotions, Discounts, and Coupons

6.1  Preorder items are not eligible for any discount codes, promotional offers, coupons, sale pricing, loyalty rewards, or other reductions, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique.

6.2  Attempted application of a discount code to a preorder item will be reversed at order processing, and no retroactive adjustments will be made.

7. Order Modifications and Cancellations

7.1  Consistent with our Shipping Policy, once a preorder has been submitted, it cannot be modified, adjusted, added to, or cancelled under any circumstances. No exceptions.

7.2  Customers are responsible for verifying all order details, including size, color, quantity, billing information, and shipping address, prior to submitting a preorder.

8. Returns and Exchanges

8.1  Preorder items are subject to the standard terms of our Return Policy and Exchange Policy, unless the preorder item is designated as a Final Sale item, in which case it is not eligible for return or exchange.

8.2  The fourteen (14) day return window begins on the date the preorder item is delivered to the Customer's shipping address, not the date the preorder was placed.

9. Inventory and Availability

9.1  Although we make every effort to fulfill all preorders, Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique does not guarantee the availability of any preorder item.

9.2  In the rare event that a preorder cannot be fulfilled due to manufacturing failure, supplier discontinuation, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the Customer by email and issue store credit equal to the amount paid for the preorder item. Where required by law, a refund to the original payment method may be issued in lieu of store credit.

10. Force Majeure

Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling a preorder caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, governmental action, labor disputes, manufacturer delays, supply chain interruptions, carrier service disruptions, fire, flood, war, terrorism, or civil unrest.

11. Modifications to This Policy

Chic & Curvy Couture Boutique reserves the right to modify this Preorder Policy at any time without prior notice. The version of the Policy in effect at the time the preorder is placed will govern that transaction.

12. Governing Law and Venue

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the binding arbitration provision set forth in our Terms and Conditions, or brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
